Having a dachshund is kind of like being in a special club. When two dachshund owners see each other on the street, they have to let their dogs meet. A person's credibility goes up a million points if they have a dachshund, because it means that they "get it." Short and long is the way to go.
I'm sorry to break this news, but we may just have the cutest dachshund out there. Check her out, her name is Lyndsey Toast, the inspiration for all of this.
My husband and I don't treat our dog like a child. We treat her better than a child. We are "those people." I know it and I don't care.
We always find ourselves wondering, worrying about whether things she does or the problems she has are "normal." We are always asking other dachshund owners questions, and bringing LT to the vet way too much. Which was why we created this blog.
In the future you'll find profiles about other NYC dachshunds, their likes, dislikes, and habits. You'll also find articles from a personal perspective about products, behavior issues, tips, and tidbits. Hopefully someone, somewhere will find this stuff helpful. Or at least appreciate the abundance of cute pictures and videos.
